The Artist

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in Northern Virginia, David "vee" Lopez Ponce is a 21-year-old Latin American artist that has recently dropped out of college and quit his work to focus solely on Art. Ever since a child, Art was an integral aspect of his life. From watching baby einsteins to going to the Smithsonian Museums and Galleries in DC as soon as he could fit in a stroller. Throughout his time in school, he would regularly get in trouble for doodling and sketching rather than taking notes and paying attention.

Later during high school, David discovered e-commerce and digital marketing. Focused on creating and running multiple 6-figure businesses, his expression through art was mostly lost and forgotten. In December of 2021, a marketing gig introduced him to Crypto and Web3. Learning more and more about the space David started drawing and painting again and has felt more fulfilled than ever before. Being able to create art and make new friends, web3 has created a refreshing avenue of connection and expression, saving him from burnout.

Once an artist overcome by emotional trauma has broken out of depression-induced insomnia and has been given the opportunity to dream again, exploring emotions and feelings of love, passion, joy, and ecstasy.
